Ayla Villas Screen Mock-Up

The first prototypes of the bespoke screens for the Ayla Villas have been fabricated. The screens are made of lightweight Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) and blue glass infill. The GRC is cast in custom moulds created via 3D CNC milled moulds and supported by embedded laser cut steel plates.

The screens have been designed with the intent to respond to environmental context, helping with shading and keep interior spaces cool, while maintaining an ethos with traditional design and architecture. The Ayla Villas will be situated on man-made islands surrounded by stunning lagoons within the Ayla Oasis Development.
