Inspired by the naturally carved rock formations of desert wadis, the landscape design integrates vertical planting terraces with cascading waterfalls to reduce the impact of the house’s tall boundary wall. Shaded seating areas, with expansive views over the garden, are built-in between planters to create an inviting yet cosy atmosphere. In contrast to the warm tones of the hardscape, the interior has a cooler, bold palette of black and white with an eclectic mix of contemporary Arabian design and furniture.
